On 25 February 2026, the students of the Department of Botany, S. S. Jain Subodh Girls P.G. College, Sanganer, visited the "Rajasthan Biotech Conclave 2026" held at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur. The conclave was organized by Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology and AIC Banasthali Vidyapeeth in collaboration with Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Government of Rajasthan. During the visit, students explored innovative exhibits showcasing advancements in biotechnology and life sciences. A major highlight was the demonstration of plants and artificial seeds developed through genetic manipulation and advanced biotechnological techniques. The exhibits provided valuable insights into modern research tools, plant tissue culture, and emerging innovations in the biotechnology sector. The students also attended informative lectures focused on career counseling and the pivotal role of Science and Technology in driving the economy, environmental sustainability, and employment opportunities. These sessions broadened their understanding of research prospects and professional pathways in life sciences.The Principal, Dr. Rita Jain, motivated the students to actively engage in scientific research and encouraged them to pursue advanced research techniques in the field of science and technology.The educational visit proved to be an enriching experience, enhancing the students’ academic knowledge and inspiring them toward innovation and research excellence.
