An AIYS Model United Nations (AIYS MUN) conference was successfully organized on 10th and 11th January at S.S. Jain Subodh Girls PG College, Sanganer. The two-day event aimed to enhance leadership skills, critical thinking, and global awareness among students.The programme was inaugurated in the college auditorium with the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking an auspicious beginning. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Dashrath Singh Shekhawat, a retired army officer and an eminent educationist. He is internationally recognized for holding a world record as the most qualified person in the world. In his address, he inspired students with his life experiences, dedication to education, and service to the nation.Approximately 300 participants took part in the conference. Students competed enthusiastically in various committees and categories, showcasing their debating skills, diplomacy, and problem-solving abilities. The sessions were interactive and intellectually stimulating, providing a valuable learning experience to all participants.
The first day concluded with an energetic DJ Night, which added excitement and entertainment to the event. The evening featured DJ Khagesh, along with RJ Rohit and Pratham Bhardwaj, who kept the audience engaged and enthusiastic.
The closing ceremony of the Next Day Model United Nations (MUN) was conducted with great enthusiasm and elegance, marking a successful conclusion to the event. The programme was graced by the presence of distinguished guests and was attended by faculty members, organisers, participants, and students.
The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Aradhna Parmar. The Chief Guest, Ms. Sushila Singh, and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Kesar Pareek, added prestige to the occasion with their presence. During the ceremony, awards were presented to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performances throughout the MUN sessions.
As a token of appreciation, the organisers presented a memento to the respected College Principal, Dr. Rita Jain, acknowledging her constant support and guidance. The programme was successfully coordinated by the Staff Coordinator, Dr. Swapnal Sisodiya, with the support of several college staff members who contributed to the smooth execution of the event.
The evening segment of the programme was vibrant and entertaining. It featured a lively performance by the Aavaan Band, followed by an exciting Beat Box Battle by Kshitij, which captivated the audience. A graceful Fashion Walk showcased creativity and confidence among the participants. The evening concluded on a high note with energetic music by DJ Khagesh, leaving everyone with memorable experiences.
